Co-ordinator of the Green Group of Councillors, Steve Burgess, will be hoping to retain his seat in Southside & Newington. Steve was born in Edinburgh, and studied and worked at Edinburgh University as well as with the Green Group of MSPs in the Scottish Parliament.
Also hoping to return to the City Chambers is Councillor Maggie Chapman. Maggie represents Leith Walk, and has been instrumental in the establishment of £eith Decides, the annual awarding of funds to local community groups, chosen by local people.
